Well we have got off to a flying start for 2024 here at Denby Dale District Lions Club! Thanks to your very generous donations during our Santa Sleigh runs and other Santa events throughout December we are delighted to announce that we will shortly be making donations to no less than 5 of our chosen charities these being; Barnsley Hospital, Barnsley Hospice, Wakefield Hospice, The Kirkwood and the Forget Me Not Childrens Hospice. All of these organisations are tireless in carrying out their dedicated and essential work. As ever we will continue to make further donations to other good causes within our Community over the coming weeks and months via our programme of fundraising events which we organise throughout the year. Following a record breaking Beer Festival, we are turning attention to the annual Scarecrow even on 6-7th July.
